Apple Ginga

We created this smoothie because we wanted to enjoy a light and refreshing drink, that was also substantial enough to be considered a sizable snack. It's also an excellent way to get that mid-morning pick-me-up without the caffeine crash, and with all of the antioxidants. The citrusy orange and spicy ginger root will tickle your tastebuds, but paired with sweet apple and banana, you'd never notice the hearty, vitamin-rich kale!

Directions

  1. Blend the water, kale, and orange together until no big chunks remain.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
