Maca powder can be used to enhance the creaminess of smoothies, and has notes of butterscotch, malt, and/or nuts.

Its taste was quite a surprise when we first had it, because it's actually a root. It seems almost... cocoa-like, and has this incredible shake-enhancing taste that we weren't expecting at all, and now it's a staple in our kitchen.
